I’m not a big fan of getting party invites via email, but the latest one I got was quite peculiar. Its not that I spend a lot of time wondering which environment is more conducive to catching the swine flu virus, but perhaps advertising a party with the slogan ‘Dance Fever’ is not the most compelling way to get people there. And while on the topic of pandemic, I demand a change of the expression ‘caught the flu’ in our current vernacular. No one I know has ever actively sought to catch a virus. It should be the other way around.
